Cowboy Payton

My little P.J. has been swinging a rope since he was old enough to walk. Well, when Jory and I went to the NFR this year we met Alan Bach the team roping world champion. We bought P.J. a new rope bag and had him sign it. Payton had made a list for Santa, and on the list he really wanted a "rope what is blue". Well, Santa came through with the blue rope and man does it "stick bones" as Jory would say. Look at our future world champ...





Jory told him that if he can "stick" 10 times in a row then he will enter him in the dummy (fake steer) roping. He is getting close! Soon he will be heading for Dad!

Spring Break!

We had a fabulous and busy Spring Break!

Friday was Kimmy's birthday! She is 29! We had a fiesta at Shari's house. Everyone came and it was so yummy! Jory's brother Judd came out and hung out with us over the weekend. On Saturday we went to Angie's house (the Morgan Morgan's) to dye Easter eggs! Stinky! Payton stayed up until about midnight by himself playing Brock's Playstation 3.

Sunday we had a big Easter egg hunt for the kiddies! P.J. wasn't the fastest collector, but he had the most $ in his eggs. He came out with $32.75! We had a big BBQ at Nans and Papa's house. We missed having Lois and Loyd with us. We miss you guys!





I am so thankful for so many things in my life. I have wonderful family and friends. I am so thankful for Jesus Christ and the ultimate gift he gave to me. He blesses my life everyday! Now... back to the real world. Spring Break is offically over!

It is my sister, Aunt Kimmy's birthday! I will post a picture of her later. She will love me for it! See you tonight! Time to party!! Love ya BIG sis! Even though everyone thinks I'm older, we all know the truth!

Blogging World

I am entering the blogging world. My friend Mandy hooked me up. I've been wanting to create a web site for my classroom and she informed me that blogging was much easier. I really didn't think I would want to do a blog for my family, but here I am. I've been going back and forth on if I really wanted to do this. My parents keep freaking me out about how unsafe this is. Anyone who knows me very good knows that I check my email only ever so often. Everyone always looks out for me by coming to tell me if anything is too important that anyone has emailed me because I am such a slacker. You might also find that funny because I am quite OCD about plenty of things. I have been having fun with the class blog, hopefully I will keep up on all of it. Summer is coming, school will be out and I am so excited to be a stay at home mom for a few months. I will have nothing better to do than blog.

I am excited to have a place to journal, all of my blogger friends will be floored to know that I'm joining the crowd. Hopefully this will be a good way for me to keep in touch with you all. I forgot how to add the link to friends blogs so hopefully I will figure that out soon!
